Italian League champions Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari continued building its roster for the upcoming Turkish Airlines Euroleague season by inking small forward Christian Eyenga to a one-year contract on Friday.

Eyenga (2.01 meters, 26 years old) arrives from fellow Italian side Varese, where he averaged 12.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game last season. Eyenga has played two Euroleague campaigns so far, with Joventut Badalona of Spain in 2008-09 and with Stelmet Zielona Gora of Poland in 2013-14, when he posted 9.2 points and 4.7 rebounds during the regular season.

A native of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Eyenga joined Spanish side Joventut Badalona as a teenager and spent three seasons with the club and its affiliate, CB Prat. Eyenga has also played for Cleveland and the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA, Erie, Canton, Texas and Los Angeles of the NBDL and Shanxi Zhongyu of China, before returning to Europe to Zielona Gora and Varese.
