Venezia crushed Dinamo Sassari in Game 7 of the Italian League Finals (87-61) and won the series 4-3 to claim the title.
After a balanced first half (40-36), Venezia went on a 30-17 run in the third quarter, earned a 17-point lead and never looked back (70-53).
Mike Bramos (22 points, six rebounds) and Marquez Haynes (21 points) led the winners, whereas Rashawn Thomas (16 points, seven rebounds) was the only Sassari player in double figures.
This was the fourth Italian League title in the history of Venezia and the second one in three years, as they had also won it in 2017.
