D’Angelo Russell played just under 9 minutes in the Lakers win over the Warriors (124-111) due to an ankle injury.
After the game the 27-year-old point guard was asked about how serious the injury is. According to him, it’s nothing major.
“Sore, sore. Any other ankle injury, same thing,” he said. “Sore, I’ll try to bounce back tomorrow, see how I feel. Get some meds in me, some rehab. It will be alright.”
