Since early December, Cam Reddish has been spending time on the Knicks bench as head coach Tom Thibodeau removed him from the rotation.

The 23-year-old small forward has been included in trade rumors, being linked with teams like the Lakers, but as of now he remains in New York.

Reddish says he tries not to think about the trade rumors because he has no control of that and instead is focusing on staying in shape.

Via Stefan Bondy of New York Daily:

“I don’t have control over s–t. So I can’t do too much thinking [about my DNP status],” Cam Reddish, who was acquired by the Knicks for a first-round pick last season, said. “I’ll think myself into misery. You know how that goes. That’s just human nature. I just try to stay in the gym. Work out. And go from there.”

This season Reddish is averaging 8.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1 assist in 21.9 minutes per game.
