Cam Reddish’s brief stint overseas has come to an end, as BC Šiauliai announced in a press release that the former NBA lottery pick has officially departed the team and returned to the United States for personal reasons.
The move brings an early close to his first season playing internationally after signing with the Lithuanian club in September.
Reddish entered the league as the 10th overall pick in the 2019 draft and spent six seasons with four NBA franchises – the Hawks, Knicks, Trail Blazers, and Lakers.
Although he showed flashes of defensive upside and scoring potential, he never consistently established himself as a dependable offensive contributor.
Across 254 NBA games, including 116 starts, he averaged 8.5 points per game while shooting .398 from the field, .322 from three-point range, and .821 at the free-throw line.
In Lithuania, Reddish had taken on a larger role and produced solid numbers in his nine appearances with Šiauliai. He averaged 14.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game before stepping away from the team.
