Both Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will be activated in the Golden State Warriors’ preseason wrap up against the Denver Nuggets on Friday.

Thompson and Green will be slated at the starting lineup with Steph Curry, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney.

“We have a lot of people who are ready to play and not enough minutes,” head coach Steve Kerr said Thursday. “I blame (GM) Bob (Myers) for that, by the way. I don’t know what he’s doing putting together this great roster.”

Thompson didn’t play in the Warriors’ past four preseason games, as the team went on to precautionary measures to keep him available in the long run. The All-star swingman notably missed more than 900 games played in his recovery from ACL and Achilles tear.

Meanwhile, Green made a comeback on the team on Thursday after his brief hiatus from the altercation he had with Jordan Poole.

Golden State will first receive their 2021-22 title rings before facing the Los Angeles Lakers on the opening night this Oct. 18.
