When Kevin Durant made his trade request, it was thought that the two-time NBA champion will play for the Nets if no trade is made before the start of the season.

Since then things have changed. KD recently issued an ultimatum to Joe Tsai, the owner of the Nets, asking him to choose between himself and head coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks.

According to NBA insider Brian Windhorst, it is now entirely possible that Durant would sit out the training camp if Brooklyn does not find a trade for him.

“A week ago, if you had asked me, ‘will Kevin Durant hold out of training camp if he’s not traded?’ I would have been like, ‘I can’t see it.’ Now I can see it. That is what we’re headed towards,” Windhorst said, per ClutchPoints.
