In a meeting with the Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai, Kevin Durant reiterated his trade request and informed Tsai that Tsai needs to choose between Durant or the pairing of general manager Sean Marks and head coach Steve Nash.

The Nets superstar informed Joe Tsai that he does not have faith in Brooklyn’s direction. The meeting was described as transparent and professional, with a clear message: Keep me – or the GM and coach.

Durant still has a 4-year $192.4 million contract, which runs after the 2025-26 season. Last season, the 33-year-old averaged 29.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 6.4 assists in 55 regular-season games.
