Draymond Green recently made a bold statement by saying that in his prime Carmelo Anthony was a better scorer than Kevin Durant.

The four-time NBA champion based his choice on his personal experience as he recalled one of his first experiences guarding Melo and how repeated the same play twice even thought the first time Green prevented him from scoring.

Sports analyst Nick Wright slammed Green’s take, by saying that by giving it the Warriors forward became what he despises – like the media that gives bad takes they don’t even believe.

“Carmelo Anthony won the only National Championship in the history of my alma mater. Melo’s one of my favorite players of all time. He’s not a better scorer than Kevin Durant. Draymond’s become what he most despises. It’s a bad take that he doesn’t even believe,” Wright said on First Things First.
