Fenerbahce’s Emir Preldzic won’t play at this summer’s Eurobasket and as Turkey continues to look a naturalized player. the new president of the Turkish Basketball Federation, Harun Erdenay made a statement on this issue.
“We want to a player who plays in Turkey,” Erdenay said. “There are some names that coach Ergin Ataman thinks about them. I would say Fenerbahce’s Andrew Goudelock is first option for naturalized player. Also Pinar Karsiyaka’s Bobby Dixon is on the list.”
Goudelock is nearing the end of his first season with Fenerbahce. He is averaging 26 minutes, 11.2 points and 2.3 assists in 31 games in TBL. Also he played an important role for the team in the Euroleague, helping them reach the Final Four.
Pinar Karsiyaka’s Bobby Dixon has played the last three seasons in Turkey. He is averaging 33 minutes, 16.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists in the TBL.
