According to Marc Stein, the Los Angeles Lakers haven’t “abandoned hope” that the Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers will become available to hire this summer. Rivers‘ five-year contract runs through the 2024-25 season.
The Los Angeles Lakers fired head coach Frank Vogel, who compiled a 127-98 regular season and 18-9 postseason record with the team, after the franchise missed out on the NBA playoffs this season.
