The Miami Heat could see their season get even better, with two important players nearing their respective returns for the team. Victor Oladipo and Markieff Morris are reportedly set to travel to New York with their teammates, who are scheduled to play the Knicks at MSG on Friday.

That is according to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.

This seems to be a strong indicator of both men potentially returning to the lineup very soon.

Oladipo only appeared in four games for Miami last season and underwent surgery on a problematic quadriceps tendon last May – he is yet to play this term. Morris, meanwhile, hasn’t featured since getting shoved in the back by Nikola Jokic in November and has remained out a lot longer than many expected.

The Heat went into the All-Star break as the leaders of the Eastern Conference; their title prospects should improve significantly with those two players back.
