A quarter of the season has passed, but Victor Oladipo is yet to play his first game this year for the Heat. The 30-year-old shooting guard has been sidelined with a knee injury.

It appears that his debut is getting closer. Though it is still not clear when Oladipo will finally be fully ready to play. In any case, his return to the court is not far away.

Via Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald:

“I feel good, been moving a lot more. Just going to make sure it’s the right thing, the right decision collectively. I’m not going to make a decision by myself. Just going to make sure everything feels good and I can perform at the highest level.”

Oladipo has resumed practicing with the Heat, but not in full-contact sessions. Does he believe he can play in a regular-season game within a week or two? “I don’t know,” he said.

Last season Oladipo appeared 8 games for the Heat, averaging 12.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 21.8 minutes per game.
