The last time Klay Thompson played an NBA game was back in June, 2019. More than two years later, he is getting very close to making a long awaited return.
Recently, the three-time NBA champion was sent by the Golden State Warriors to its G League affiliate for extra practices, as he nears return, which is expected to take place during the Christmas week.
“I hate to use the phrase “can’t wait,” because I love to be present in my life, but I cannot wait,” Thompson admitted. “I really, really enjoy being a Warrior.”
