Timberwolves re-sign Enrique Freeman

The Minnesota Timberwolves have brought back forward Enrique Freeman, signing him to another two-way contract after waiving him near the end of the preseason.

Minnesota had kept one of its two-way roster spots available following Freeman’s release, allowing the team to re-sign the 26-year-old forward ahead of the new season.

Freeman spent the previous season with the Timberwolves organization on a two-way deal, dividing his time between the NBA team and its G League affiliate, the Iowa Wolves.

Although his opportunities at the NBA level were limited, Freeman appeared in four games for Minnesota during the season.

He received considerably more playing time in the G League, where he made 39 appearances for Iowa and averaged 16.5 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
