Steph Curry took to Instagram to react to Klay Thompson leaving the Golden State Warriors after 13 years and four NBA championships.

Curry shared numerous photos of himself and Thompson from their time together with the Warriors.

He also wrote a heartfelt message addressing Thompson’s departure.

“Gonna miss you @klaythompson Even though we won’t finish the journey together, what we did will never be done again,” Curry wrote.

He highlighted their remarkable run with Draymond Green and their impact on the Bay Area and the game itself.

“Killa Klay at the center of it all. Thank you for everything bro. Go enjoy playing basketball and doing what you do. Splash Bros 4 life my guy,” Curry continued.

Thompson signed a three-year, $50 million contract with the Dallas Mavericks.

The Warriors did not make a satisfactory offer to retain Thompson, leading to his decision to leave.

Thompson’s departure marks the end of an era for the Warriors’ core trio of Curry, Thompson, and Green.

Curry’s reaction reflects the deep bond and shared success they experienced.
