Carmelo Anthony has made a great start to the season and received high praise from Lakers players and head coach Frank Vogel.
Russell Westbrook and coach Vogel had nothing but good words to say about Anthony and his contribution to the team on both ends.
“He’s had the mindset to come in and pull his own weight on the defensive side of the ball and then some. Melo is a great communicator defensively,” Vogel told reporters, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation. “He’s always been willing to do what’s better for the team,” Westbrook added.
Carmelo Anthony has been one of the best Lakers players so far. He is averaging 16.7 points, on 50% shooting and 52.2% from beyond the arc, along with 3.9 rebounds.
