It was a public secret that there were tensions rising between Draymond Green and Kevin Durant in his final year with the Golden State Warriors. After winning two NBA championships together, the two players parted ways not in the best of ways.

A couple of weeks ago, Green and KD sat down together for a public conversation for Bleacher Report to clear the air and end the beef between them.

Recently, Green joined the Los Angeles Lakers newcomer Carmelo Anthony on his ‘What’s In Your Glass’ podcast and one of the topics discussed was how the Golden State Warriors forward decided to fix his relationship with Durant.

“I think we’re both in much better spaces than we were before. We could easily say ‘I’m not gonna talk to him.’ But the reality is do I really not want to talk to KD? Nah, that’s my brother,” Green told Melo. “We’ve done some special sh*t together.

“But even beyond us winning a championship together, I got nothing but love for that brother, I got love that man, that’s my brother. He got my back in life. I thought it would be great for us to have that conversation publicly because I publicly f*cked it up.”

Green and Durant were once again teammates this past summer when they suited for the USA national team that won Olympic gold in Tokyo.
