Luka Doncic could soon have a fellow Slovenian on the Dallas Mavericks roster. According to Jake Fischer, Goran Dragic is expected to sign with the Mavs after being bought out by the Toronto Raptors.

The 35-year-old point guard and Precious Achiuwa were acquired by the Raptors from the Heat via a sign-and-trade in exchange for Kyle Lowry.

Dragic and Doncic played together for the Slovenian national team before the latter retired from international basketball. The two led their home country to its first ever EuroBasket gold in 2017.

This past season Dragic averaged 13.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game for the Heat.
