Kawhi Leonard has agreed to a lucrative, multi-year deal with the Los Angeles Clippers and will return to the team long term.

According to Shams Charania of the Athletic, the deal between Leonard and the Clippers is for four years, worth a total of $176M.

The two-time NBA champion and Finals MVP had a player option for next season, worth $36M, but he declined it in order to negotiate a new deal.

Leonard averaged 24.8 points per game last season, but missed the last part of the playoffs, due to a partially torn right ACL. The Clippers made it to the Western Conference Finals, with Leonard having a surgery early in the offseason.
