Kawhi Leonard is expected to sign a new contract with the Los Angeles Clippers in the coming days in order to remain with the team long term.
According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Leonard has decided to return to the Clippers and sign a new deal with the team.
Leonard and the Clippers now are in talks regarding the terms of the new deal, Haynes reports, which will be finalized soon.
The versatile guard/forward declined his player option for the news season, as he was willing to negotiate a new deal with the Clippers.
