Real Madrid has announced the termination of its contract with power forward Usman Garuba.
Garuba, 19, was selected with the 23rd pick in the 2021 Draft and will now move to the NBA and sign with the Houston Rockets.
Real Madrid and Garuba agreed to a buyout of three million euros, which the young player will pay in installments.
Garuba was named Rising Star of the EuroLeague last season, averaging 3.9 points and four rebounds in 39 games with Real Madrid.
