Real Madrid has announced the return of Usman Garuba, who will be linked with the club for the next three seasons, until June 30, 2027.

Garuba re-joins Real Madrid for his second stint after spending three years in the NBA.

He played two seasons with the Houston Rockets (2021-2023) and one season with the Golden State Warriors (2023-2024).

The forward originally joined Real Madrid’s youth system in 2013, where he won multiple titles, including Spain’s youth championships and the 2019 European Junior Cup.

During his first term with Real Madrid, Garuba helped the team secure four titles in three seasons, including one Liga, one Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Supercups.

He was also named the Best Young Player in both the Liga Endesa and the EuroLeague for the 2020-2021 season.

Garuba has represented Spain 42 times and won a gold medal at the 2022 European Championship.
