Portland Trail Blazers are still searching for their new head coach after terminating their relationship with Terry Stotts after nine seasons.
One of the names that was revealed the last few days is Chauncey Billups, who is an assistant under Ty Lue in the Los Angeles Clippers.
A longtime former teammate of Billups shared that he has a strong desire for the job. Billups’ former Detroit Pistons teammate, Richard “Rip” Hamilton, was asked by TMZ cameras if he wants the Blazers head coaching vacancy.
Billups and Hamilton were the guard duo that revived the Detroit Pistons franchise through the 2000s winning a championship together in 2004.
