Two players of the Toronto Raptors, Chris Boucher and Pascal Siakam, shared their thoughts on the struggles Marc Gasol is facing with the Lakers.
Both Boucher and Siakam praised Gasol for his versatility and leadership skills and expressed their surprise for his role with the Lakers.
“I don’t know what they’re doing over there but Marc Gasol’s a great player & I don’t think he’s somebody that you can’t play… I don’t think that should be the situation.. (He’s) still got it at his age & can still bring a lot to the team,” Boucher noted about Gasol.
“Marc is a great guy overall, man. He’s just one of those people that you love to be around. As a big brother here he kinda took all of us in a little bit and taught us a lot of things… He’s just a great vet all around… He’s a great person,” Siakam told reporters, via Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports.
Marc Gasol had one of his best performances for the Lakers with 13 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four blocks, leading the Lakers to the 110-101 win over the Raptors.
