Andre Drummond made his debut with the Los Angeles Lakers in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Unfortunately for him, the game ended early for him due to a toe injury.

The 27-year-old center played 14 points in which he had 4 points, 1 rebounds and 2 assists before having to leave the court. The Lakers lost the game 97-112.

After the game Drummond shared his thoughts on his short debut. “If you saw the first couple minutes of the game that I was out there just the energy defensively that I brought and it kind of boosted everybody on both ends of the court,” he said.

“Again, just unfortunate to had this happen to me the first game kind of was a little deflating for me. But my head is high. I’m gonna take it day by day and come back better than ever.”

This was the first loss for the reigning NBA champions after winning two straight games. With 30 wins and 18 losses, the Lakers are currently in the fourth place in the Western Conference. The Nuggets and the Trail Blazers are chasing them and are just a single win behind.
