Miami Heat big man Bam Adebayo has vowed the team will figure things out after yet another loss on Thursday. The NBA finalists are now 6-12 on the back of their reverse to the also short-handed Los Angeles Clippers, equalling the franchise’s worse start in 18 games dating back to the 2007-08 season.

The team has been ravaged by injuries and COVID-related issues, with Jimmy Butler having sat out 12 straight games and Tyler Herro only returning on Thursday after a 7-game absence. Bam’s in no mood to make excuses, though. The All-Star center has told Heat fans the team will find a way to return to winning ways.

“Heat Nation, we are going to figure this out,” he declared, per NBC Sports. “Just bear with us. We are going to figure this out. I can promise them that we are going to figure this out. I know that they’re tired of seeing us lose. We’re tired of losing. We have to figure this out.”

The Heat return to action against the Sacramento Kings at home on Saturday.
