Frank Vogel does not want to see the Los Angeles Lakers give up big leads, just like they have done in the last few games.

Vogel, the head coach of the Lakers, said the defending champions should retain their big lead and not allow their opponents to get back to the game.

“We’ve got to be better. That’s the simplest way to put it. Last game we gave up a lead, we lost. We talked about that at halftime, we came out and didn’t play the third quarter the way we were supposed to and really approach that whole second half the way we’re supposed to. So we’ll learn from it and hopefully get better next time.

Hopefully we’re going to be up again by 20 to 30 at halftime at some point and we’ll draw back on this experience, knowing we didn’t do well enough and we have to be better in the future,” Vogel, said via Lakers Nation.

The Lakers were in front by more than 30 points against the Chicago Bulls in the first half on Saturday, yet they let their opponents turn things around later in the game.

However, they took the 101-90 win and remained perfect on the road (9-0).
