The Houston Rockets have interviewed Frank Vogel on Wednesday for their head coaching vacancy, per Kelly Iko of The Athletic.
Vogel, a current free-agent coach, has been rumored and viewed initially as one of the key candidates that may likely take over for the coaching opening in the Rockets camp.
A defensive-minded tactician, Vogel notably led the Los Angeles Lakers on their 2020 NBA championship run. He has a 431-389 (.526% win rate) throughout his 11-year coaching.
After three seasons of partnership, the Rockets parted ways with coach Stephen Silas on Monday.
