The Chinese government won’t soon forget Daryl Morey’s tweet supporting the Hong Kong protests. And his Philadelphia 76ers are getting zero airtime in the Asian nation, likely because the 48-year-old is now the team’s president of basketball operations.

According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, the Houston Rockets’ loss vs. the Los Angeles Lakers was broadcast in China on Sunday, marking the first time a Rockets game aired in China since Morey’s tweet in 2019. Stein reports no 76ers games have aired in the country so far this season.
