Paul George opened up about the blowout loss of the Los Angeles Clippers to the Dallas Mavericks at Staples Center (124-73).
George took blame for the Clippers’ heavy loss, which was the biggest one in franchise history.
“I take full responsibility. Tough game… I take full ownership of that. Our group will be ready… We got our butts kicked… We wasn’t ready, wasn’t prepared, not from the plan, being ready to go… that’s on me,” George told reporters, via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.
George had 15 points (4/13 shooting, 0/6 from beyond the arc) in 24 minutes of action, as the Clippers dropped to 2-1. Meanwhile, the Mavs earned their first win this season (1-2).
