The Los Angeles Clippers lost their 16th game of the season as they were defeated by the Dallas Mavericks. Despite the loss, they retained their fourth place in the Western Conference.

According to the Clippers’ star Paul George, bad officiating was part of the reason why his team lost. His main complaint was a lack of foul calls against the opponents.

“We’re putting a lot of pressure at the rim,” George said after the loss, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN. “It’s insane that we’re not getting these calls. But it is what it is. It’s nothing new to me. Hopefully, we’ll send a bunch of clips in. League’s gotta take a look at this.”

The Clippers had a rough night offensively as they scored just 89 points on 42% field goals and 28% three-pointers. They also missed 5 out of 11 free throws. George was the team’s top scorer with 28 points, following by Kawhi Leonard with 20.

Luka Doncic was the biggest problem in defense for Los Angeles. The 22-year-old Slovenian torched the Clippers defense with 42 points.
