Stephen Curry opened up about facing his former teammate in the Golden State Warriors Kevin Durant.

Durant and the Brooklyn Nets decimated Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the season opener (99-125).

“Awful. We got our butts beat. Considering we got beat by 30, everyone was pretty upbeat in terms of understanding we have a long season to go,” Curry told reporters, via Connor Letourneau of San Francisco Chronicle.

Durant had 22 points (7/16 shooting) in 25 minutes in his first game since Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals. Meanwhile, Curry scored 20 points (7/21 shooting, 2/10 from beyond the arc) and dished 10 assists.
