Kyrie Irving was unstoppable for the Brooklyn Nets in the season opener against the Golden State Warriors.
Irving went for 26 points (10/16 shooting, 4/7 from beyond the arc) in 25 minutes of action, but he knows it is all about team effort for the Nets.
“It’s been a long journey to get here and to be able to master this craft, and to learn that it’s not just about ‘hero’ basketball: It’s about how great the team is,” Irving told reporters, via Brian Lewis of the New York Post.
Irving and the Nets cruised to an easy victory over the Warriors (99-125).
