Lou Williams spoke with the media and opened up about his future with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Williams does not seem worried about it and prefers to focus on leading the Clippers to the NBA Finals this coming season.
“I don’t think about it all the time but at the end of the day, I take it one step at a time. I’m blessed to be in a position where I’m kind of in control of my destiny after this season.
I’m excited about this year and competing for a championship,” Williams told reporters on Monday, via Tomer Azarly of Clutchpoints.
The versatile guard, who averaged 18.2 points and 5.6 assists with the Clippers last season, is set to earn $8M this season and will become a free agent in 2021.
