Chris Bosh opened up about how he found out that LeBron James was leaving the Miami Heat back in 2014.
Bosh said James sent him a message, where he was informing him about his decision to leave Miami and return to the Clevaland Cavaliers.
“…At the time I didn’t understand it. At the time, in my mind, I was ready to put the team back together. We had wanted to put the team back together so we could win, and it really didn’t go like that.
I took offense to it, to be honest with you, at first. I was only thinking about how I felt about it, even though me and ‘Bron had talked about it.
But I’m a competitor, and when you go back into that locker room and LeBron isn’t sitting in that chair, and everyone is looking at you for that 25 points [it’s tough],” Bosh said during his appearance on the “All the Smoke” podcast with Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes.
Bosh and James spent four years together in the Heat (2010-2014) and played in four straight NBA Finals, winning the title twice (2012, 2013).
