One of the biggest ‘what ifs?’ in NBA history is perhaps the scenario of league stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh joining forces in Chicago Bulls during the 2010 free agency. Unfortunately, it was just literally a dream  for the Windy City fans — as the trio opted to choose the South Beach area due to the warm accommodation of Miami Heat President Pat Riley playing a huge role.

From the minds of Joakim Noah, it was all imagination — questioning what could have been if that one just happened.

The Bulls’ former star revealed in an interview that he thought that it was a “done deal” for Bosh to sign with Chicago for a new contract in 2010, and if that could have happened, the stretch big would certainly convince James and Wade to join him.

“When Chris [Bosh] came on his visit, I thought it was a done deal. I thought he’d take Dwyane [Wade], and if those two come, we’ll get LeBron [James].”

Like what was stated earlier, it was unfortunate that this idea only became an imagination, especially for the Chi-town supporters. From the bidding of numerous teams across the league at that time after the 2010 season, it was Miami who emerged victorious — landing the ‘Big Three’ in free agency signing to form a dominating figure in the NBA.

That Miami Heat team being led by James, Wade and Bosh managed to snag two league crowns in four-straight Finals appearances in 2011 to 2014. As dominant as it was, what could have been if the said threesome stars joined the young phenom of Derrick Rose in Windy City?
