Rob Pelinka opened up about the future of Kyle Kuzma with the Los Angeles Lakers amid trade rumors.
The GM of the Lakers said Kuzma is under contract with the team for the 2020/21 season and the franchise is happy with the progress he has made.
Kuzma is eligible for a contract extension in 2021 and Pelinka noted the the Lakers will start discussing Kuzma’s extension ‘when the time is right’.
Kuzma has been involved in trade talks over the past few weeks, but it seems his presence in the team ahead of the 2020/21 season is guaranteed.
