Kendrick Perkins made an interesting statement regarding Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Golden State Warriors.
Perkins said Antetokounmpo should leave the Milwaukee Bucks and sign with the Warriors if he wants to win a title now.
The “Greek Freak” and back-to-back NBA MVP is eligible to a supermax contract extension with the Bucks this offseason.
If he turns it down, though, he will be a free agent in 2021 and he could sign a supermax contract, worth $228-244M, per Bobby Marks of ESPN.
For their part, the Warriors are expected to be title contenders next season, with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green healthy and back to the lineup.
