Allen Iverson shared his thoughts on Steve Nash becoming the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets.

Iverson explained why he knew Nash would take over an NBA team one day.

“I knew it with Steve Nash. I knew it because he has so much to offer to our sport cuz he’s excellent, he’s a great person. I never had the luxury of being around him a lot, but just hearing stories from other guys, just a beautiful man.

I wanna see him succeed and the situation that he’s in with those two great players (Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving) with all the other guys they got around that (Nets) team, it’s a recipe for greatness,” Iverson said during his appearance on the All The Smoke podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.

Nash signed a four-year contract with the Nets and this will be his first job as head coach.
