Michael Malone opened up about the triumph of the Denver Nuggets over the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 7 (104-89).
The Nuggets won the series (4-3) and will play in the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2009.
Denver outscored the Clippers 50-33 in the second half and cruised to the victory.
“Our goal was never to get to a Game 7,” Malone told reporters after Game 7.
The Nuggets will face the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals. Game 1 is on Friday.
