Jamal Murray becomes the second-youngest player to score 40 points in a Game 7

Jamal Murray showed up in Game 7 of the WC semifinals vs. the Clippers for the Nuggets. The Denver’s superstar became the second-youngest player to score 40 in a Game 7, per Justin Kubatko of StatMuse.

Murray, 23, finished the game versus the Clippers with 40 points, five assists and four rebounds. He shot 57 percent from the field and 46 percent from beyond the arc.

The Nuggets advanced to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2009. The guard from Canada is averaging 26 points, 6.5 assists and 5.1 rebounds.
