The Dallas Mavericks finished their mini-series of scrimmages with a narrow win over the Philadelphia 76ers (118-115). Mavs’ next game will be an official one against the Houston Rockets on August 1. Kristaps Porzingis says the team is ready for the real action.
“We’re a talented team. I think for us there’re a few learning lessons that we can take from this scrimmage also. And now it’s time for the real deal, for the regular season games and then the playoffs. So our excitement level is gonna go even a few levels up now,” the 24-year-old forward said.
This season, Porzingis is averaging 19.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
