The players association (ELPA) was against the season resumption. The high risk of injuries was one of the main reasons why players wanted the season to be canceled.
Although some of them were disappointed that their first Euroleague experience ended so unexpectedly due to the coronavirus pandemic, the majority of the players were relieved that the season is officially over.
