Bronny James, the eldest son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, has been invited to participate in the 2024 Draft Combine, the NBA announced.
The 19-year-old guard was selected among 78 players, who received invitations. Participation in the Draft Combine, which will take place from May 12-19 at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis in Chicago, is mandatory.
While Bronny is not projected to be drafted this year, it has been reported that the Lakers will consider drafting him to appease LeBron, who could become an unrestricted free agent this summer if, as expected, he opts out of his player option for next season.
