D’Angelo Russell does not want to give credit to former Brooklyn Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson for his success with the team.
Under Atkinson, Russell made the best season of his career (2018/19) and also became an All-Star.
“I’m not going to give it to Kenny. I still don’t think he knew what he had, honestly. I don’t think he knew what I was capable of in the fourth quarter,” Russell told Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.
