Michael Jordan has certainly become a meme-worthy figure since that famous Hall of Fame speech in 2009. The Crying Jordan meme was one of the most popular of its kind for several years and, this year alone, His Airness has produced at least three meme-prompting moments.
There’s Crying Jordan meme from Kobe Bryant’s memorial – admittedly in poor taste but a meme nonetheless – the scene from The Last Dance where he looks at Isiah Thomas speaking about the infamous Pistons walk-off, and the most recent: laughing hysterically at Gary Payton saying his defense took a toll on MJ in the 1996 NBA Finals.
That last one could also work as a funny GIF but someone has gone ahead and dubbed it into the 2018 clip which shows LeBron James branding himself the GOAT because he beat the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 Finals.
