Meyers Leonard of the NBA’s Miami Heat is partnering with PLAYERS NTWRK, a gameplay-centric digital entertainment platform, to host the final livestream of his Hammer Classic – Call of Duty: Warzone Tournament, a charitable celebrity gaming competition, this Friday, 5/1 @ 5:00pm PT on the official PLAYERS NTWRK Twitch channel.
Meyers, an avid gamer and philanthropist, has also signed on to become the newest member of PLAYERS NTWRK’s First Squad. PLAYERS NTWRK, which soft-launched early April, has focused its early content on charity-driven celebrity gameplay. The entertainment network’s roster of star-studded athletes, celebrities and gaming content creators will be in full swing alongside the delivery of the PLAYERS NTWRK’s state-of-the-art livestream production services.Meyers’ Hammer Classic has spanned 5 weeks of gameplay with a goal of raising $175,000 to support Feeding America, a charitable organization providing hunger-relief to millions of Americans. Meyers and PLAYERS NTWRK hope to raise at least $20,000 on Friday night’s stream to hit his goal of feeding 1 million people affected by COVID-19.
