Elan Chalon kept its chances of qualification to the Round of 32 of the Eurocup with a thrilling 81-79 win at home to Bilbao.

Both teams hold 4-5 records in Group B with this loss being Bilbao’s fifth straight. They do however hold the head-to-head following a 10-point win earlier in the group.

Two Bilbao players grabbed double-doubles as Antanas Kavaliauskas got 18 points and 10 rebounds. Alex Mumbru added 14 points and 1-0 rebounds as well. Raul Lopez hit 17 points and dished out 9 assists.

Group D had a full program as Alba Berlin beat Gravelines 83-72 on the road which seals top spot for them.

Gravelines goes to 5-3 but are still through. Vojdan Stojanovski led Alba with 21 points.

A buzzer-beater from Demontez Stitt gave already eliminated Mons a pride-restoring 91-90 win in overtime against Telekom Baskets Bonn.

Jason Love finished with 20 points for the victors and a Jimmy Baron-led 21 points gave Virtus Rome an 83-81 win over Zaragoza.

Despite the win though, the Italian side are already out.

Khimik Yukhne came from behind to defeat PAOK 70-58 and qualify to the next round as a result from Group F.

Paul Delaney finished with 16 points and 5 assists in the win.
