Six more teams booked their place into the Round of 32 in the Eurocup as 19 games were played to end round eight.

Group A

Vaughn Duggins hit a game-winner to hand Le Mans a vital 71-69 away win over CEZ Nymburk leaving both teams on 4-4.

Reyshawn Terry led the winners with 16 points while Rado Rancik led Nymburk with 19.

Telenet Ostend took a big step towards a Round of 32 place by handing Cantu its first loss 77-75.

Jared Berggren’s 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks was the difference as the Belgians move to 6-2.

Artland Dragons gained a 101-96 home win over Cibona Zagreb to improve to 2-6 but have a slim chance of making it to the next round.

Cibona drop further to 1-7 and are out of the running following this loss.

Group B

EWE Oldenburg edged Cedevita Zagreb 72-64 in the Croatian capital as they look to close in on a place in the next round.

Both teams now stand at 5-3 following this game as 12 points from both Julius Jenkins and Rickey Poulding secured the win.

Group C

Union Olimpija secured their first road win of the Eurocup as they survived the last 45 seconds to beat Valencia 93-91.

The win gives the Slovenian side a direct route to the second round as Deividas Gailius led the Ljubljana side with 24 points. Justin

Doellman led all scorers in vain with 28 for Valencia.

Asvel’s chances of advancing to the Round of 32 progressed as they beat Cimberio Varese 83-80, improving to 4-4.

The loss eliminates the Italian side as they drop to 1-7.

Group D

Zaragoza claimed a 71-60 win over Telekom Bonn as they move to third place with a 5-3 record.

They had to overcome an early 13-point deficit to get the win though as a 12-0 run in the final quarter finally sealed the victory.

Georgi Shermadini led Zaragoza with 14 points.

Alba Berlin advanced to the next round as they got the better of Virtus Rome 84-81 in the German capital.

Reggie Redding led Alba with 20 points as they reeled off 20 points in the last five minutes to record the win.

The Italian side drop to 2-6 and are out.

Group E

Khimki beat a stubborn Hapoel Jerusalem side 85-73 in Moscow thanks to 22 points from Paul Davis.

The result lifts Khimki further to 7-1, leaving the Israeli side on 4-4.

Lukoil Academic kept their hopes of a place in the Round of 32 alive after beating Karisyaka Izmir 74-64 in Sofia.

Despite the loss, Izmir qualifies due to the head-to-head.

Alando Tucker paced the winners by scoring 18 points with 8 rebounds and 3 assists.

CSU Ploiesti defeated Igokea 84-74 as both teams are still keeping slim hopes of progression to round two.

The Romanian side move to 3-5 thanks to this win as Gerald Lee amassed 23 points, off 10/12 shooting. Igokea are now at 2-6 and are mathematically still alive, but chances are slim.

Group F

Aykon Ankara comfortably saw-off PAOK 84-65 to seal its third straight win as they improve to 4-4.

PAOK still hold top spot in Group F with a 5-3 record.

Nikhny Novgorod advanced to the Round of 32 with a narrow 91-88 win at Buducnost Podgorica.

Slovenian Primoz Brezec led the victors with 21 points as they go to 7-1 while the Montenegrins drop to 2-6 and are all but out.

Group G

Unics Kazan were ruthless as he hammered Kalev Tallinn 94-44.

The game was never in doubt as the hosts led 26-7 after the first quarter and they never looked back.

Andrew Goudelock led the winners with 18 points, Ian Vougioukas added 17. Kalev were led by Fall Bamba’s 13 points.

Maccabi Haifa advanced to the second round with a 74-72 win at home to VEF Riga, despite nearly dropping an 18-point advantage.

In the end Ike Ofoegbu scored the winning bucket by tipping in Donta Smith’s miss with 0.7 seconds remaining for the Israeli champions to spare the blushes and earn them a spot in the next round.

Dagan Yivzori and Brian Randle led Maccabi with 16 points each. Donta Smith filled the stat sheet with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks.

BK Banvit moved to 4-4 after an easy 86-68 win over MZT Skopje in the Macedonian capital.

The result eliminates Skopje as they drop to 1-7.

Group H

Spartak Saint Petersburg defeated Radnicki 81-68 to stay alive in Group H. Radnicki however own the head-to-head over the two sides, which could prove vital at the end.

The Russians now move to 3-5 while Radnicki goes to 4-4. Yaroslav Korolev’s game-high 20 points sealed the win.

Panioios moved to 5-3 as they won 86-78 in Klaipeda against a spirited Neptunas side. Mark Carter hit five three-pointers, en route to 29 points.

Besiktas beat Bisons Loimaa 83-74 as they advanced to the Round of 32 in Istanbul.

Bisons are still in with a chance of qualification but drop to 3-5 following this loss.
